P2P and file sharing is only permitted on certain servers that are marked ‘P2P’ in the server list in our software. As of today, there are 11 VPN4ALL servers which allow P2P traffic. All other servers are marked ‘No P2P’. You may not use any ‘NO P2P’ servers for questionable file sharing or questionable P2P. If you are in doubt about what you are downloading, file sharing or P2P, then only use a server marked ‘P2P’.
Unfortunately, some of you use a perfectly legal technology to do perfectly illegal things. Of course this causes providers like us problems in many jurisdictions. We appreciate that there are many legal uses for P2P technology (for example, many online games use this technology to distribute updates) so if there is any doubt abide by the rules and use the ‘P2P’ servers only.
