Shared IPs are public IP addresses that are shared by multiple users at the same time. Dedicated IPs are IP addresses allocated to a specific electronic device / user on the network. Static IPs are better suited for online security and anonymity because when many people use the same IP address, the data flowing from that static IP becomes impossible to separate between users as IP packets are randomly generated.
At VPN4ALL, we also provide one additional static, dedicated/fixed IP for use with banking, credit card and PayPal merchants. You must always use the same Fixed IP with PayPal so that your account is not suspended. If you use multiple IP’s with PayPal you may have a problem so it’s best to use one Fixed IP with them as well as with your credit card merchants. Please see our FAQs on this.
