Will I have problems with PayPal or my credit card merchant by using VPN4ALL?

No, as long as you follow our simple instructions.

1.) Set a fixed IP address (Anchor IP) for use with PayPal and your credit cards in the VPN4ALL software. You can do this by right-clicking on the Server Name, and selecting “Anchor IP” from the menu.

2.) ALWAYS use the same server location and the same IP Address when accessing your PayPal account and when you are checking out of online stores using your credit card.

Because secure VPN technology has not yet been integrated into PayPal and Credit Card merchants, PayPal and Credit Card merchants become suspicious if you are using different digital signatures (IP addresses) and will put your account on hold. But if you always use the same server location and the same IP Address for your PayPal and online purchases with your Credit Cards, you will be fine.

3.) If you are already a PayPal client, please inform PayPal that your IP address has changed and that you are using a different IP address from now on. To inform PayPal of your new IP address, please login into your PayPal account, click on ‘Help’ in the upper right corner, click on contact PayPal. On the menu of PayPal contact, you can either send PayPal an email or phone them. If you chose to phone, tell them you have a new IP address because you have a new Internet Provider and your IP address is XX.XXX.XXX.XX.

NOTE: Do not inform PayPal you are using a Proxy or VPN.Tell PayPal you are on a new network and this is your new permanent IP Address.

4.) To verify that you are indeed connected to your Anchor IP address, go to vpn4all.com/whatismyipaddress/. You will see: Your IP Address is: XX.XXX.XXX.XX.

5.) If you wish to send PayPal an email, click on ‘Help’ in the upper right corner, click on contact PayPal, click on my account, on the drop down menu, click on modify my personal information. In the subject line write: “My new permanent IP Address”. And in the email itself: “I have a new IP address because I have a new Internet Network Provider and my IP address is XX.XXX.XXX.XX.”

6.) Once you have informed PayPal of your new IP address, always use that IP address for PayPal and always use the same IP address for your check out at any Internet stores where you use your Credit Cards.
